Knee pain is one of most common complaints in the body. Whether we have chronic or occasional pain in the knee, we often deepen our suffering through having an unskillful and unkind relationship to the pain. Practice techniques to strengthen and release the major muscles and fascia related knee pain. Exploring the themes of unconditional acceptance and kindness, we will move slowly and methodically into Yoga poses that strengthen and stabilize around the knee and stretch key muscles so the knees become more supple and receptive. Even folks without knee pain will learn a lot in this workshop: the principles of biomechanics, sitting in a way that supports all joints, and modifications for healthy aging.
