Restorative yoga is a passive, meditative form of yoga that allows you to focus on your breath while releasing tension in your body. Typically we hold poses for 5 minutes or more and the weight of the body is completely supported with bolsters (yoga pillows) and other props. Unwind long-held tension and deeply nourish your nervous system. Recommended for those of us who have injuries and have trouble getting up and down off the floor. Multiple variations of poses will be offered as folks are encouraged to listen to their bodies and access needs. While you rest, Satya will bathe you in live music from her harmonium.
