Yin Yoga is the perfect complement to a hectic, fast paced life or intense workouts. Yin Yoga is about "allowing" as opposed to "creating". In Yin Yoga we hold relaxing postures for 3-5 minutes at a time to alleviate tension , enhance breath awareness and develop mindfulness. "Innercise" is what Yin Yoga is about -- concentrating on the deep and connective tissues, fascia and allowing the muscles a little break. Allow the pose rather than create the pose with Yin Yoga. Let the stillness bring you in connection with your feelings, sensations, thoughts and space. All levels are welcomed. No prior yoga experience required.

Hello! I'm Nadine Shaw-Landesvatter, and I live in Oakland, CA. I've been teaching Zumba since Apr 2012 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Every body -- all levels and experience-- is welcome. If you're not familiar with Zumba, Zumba is a :Latin based dance fitness. I, personally also include some African, Caribbean, Soca, Dembow, Dancehall, Bollywood, Belly dance and many other genre of rhythms. I've taught Zumba at 24 Hour Fitness, YMCA , senior centers and various gyms and dance studios I am also a RYT-200 Yoga Instructor, Yoga Teacher Training Mentor, and a Certified Breath work Coach.
