Class length

In the Kundalini Yoga community, yogis gather during the times of solstice to come together, meditate and connect. The Winter Solstice is a powerful time to spend some time in reflection and meditation; less talking, more noticing. For many folks, this time of year is full with family, shopping, and parties. I invite you slow down and take a moment to honor yourself and create time to reflect on the past season and the season to come.  The Winter Solstice - is the darkest time of year which means it is most fertile for our vibrational work and intentions. Join Shirley for an afternoon of coming together in community and reflection together through movement, chanting, meditation & deep relaxation to collectively create a field of healing and reflection. Let's come together to elevate ourselves and this most sacred time of the year and get crystal clear before the new year! What will students learn? Students will deepen their experience with Kundalini Yoga - this will include pranayam, kriya and meditation. Students will learn about the energy of winter and the properties of winter energy. Students will also experience sound and chanting together.

What should students bring and wear? Yoga Mat

Students are asked to wear light colored clothing and a head covering of shawl/scarf that they can place over head.  Students are invited to bring offerings for the altar.

Intention:
*To offer Kundalini Yoga + Meditation (all levels will be welcome)
*To consciously bring in the season of winter with slowing down, self care and support participants to have a better understanding of the energy of winter
*To offer a deep relaxation with crystal sound bowls & gong
