Come back into balance, reduce stress, and find rest and relaxation by bringing more awareness to your breath and body in this slow, gentle yoga class. We will focus on releasing tension & increase strength leaving you feeling refreshed to go about your day.
This is a radically inclusive space open to all races, genders, immigration statuses, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, sizes, and levels of experience. Our intention is to elevate the wisdom within and increase the experience of wellness for all ages and abilities.
Multiple variations of postures will be offered to honor limitations and are encouraged to listen to their own body wisdom and access needs.
For classes, we have some extra Yoga mats and props. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so we can start on time.

Miya Kishi Dunets is a contemplative psychotherapist-in-training, yoga and meditation teacher, sound worker, Reiki practitioner, singer-songwriter, and Nike Well Collective trainer with many years of training in yoga, engaged Buddhist and yogic meditation, breathwork, and sound. She is a lifelong student committed to sharing the practices that help her to find steadiness, purpose, and peace.
Miya believes conscious movement, stillness, breath, sound, silence, and community can lead each of us to our highest selves. Through commitment and constant practice, we can find courage, compassion, resilience, and grace. She has an undergraduate degree in biology from Dartmouth College and a Master’s in the intersection of English literature and ecopsychology from NYU. She is in the process of completing her Master’s in integral counseling psychology at the California Institute of Integral Studies and undertaking her clinical internship/practicum with Marina Counseling Center. Her approach is highly interdisciplinary and rooted in a deep belief in interconnectedness, interdependence, and the possibility and necessity of collective liberation.
