Bio:
Ainka Joy Fulani is a Holistic Coach - meaning that she works with the whole person. In response to client needs, that showed the spirit, body, mind connection is inseparable, Ainka created Break Through Coaching (
www.RealizeYouCan.com). In this capacity she works with individuals and groups, on personal and professional coaching needs. This includes her work as a Pilates and yoga instructor, yoga therapist and personal trainer. For Ainka, Pilates started out as something she did to stay fit and manage stress. Later, she used Pilates to recover from injury and realized that she was stronger than ever before. She then felt compelled to share this goodness with as many people as possible.
She has been trained in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard and Trapeze table and has done continuing education with 1st and 2nd generation Pilates instructors from all over the world (those that are famous and those that are not so famous) in both classical and contemporary approaches and have been teaching since 2007. This was her first of many, movement certifications and influences her approach to all others.
Ainka knows that Pilates benefits everybody and everybody and it is truly a joy creating greater accessibility to The Method, regardless of experience, abilities, body shape, body type, age or anything else. It can be empowering, invigoration and liberating to have access to the strength building Pilates can provide, the mindfulness that it allows, the sense of self that it can build, inside and out, and she wants that for all of us!
Additionally, Ainka is a Native New Yorker who attended Cal (Go Bears!) studying English Literature and Education and received her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She has resided in Northern California, longer than she could have predicted and enjoys all that it offers by way of food, music, nature and good people with her family as much as possible.
Note: Participants should bring their own mats.
